Reflections from the Ends of the Earth with Adm. Heidi Berg

On December 4, I attended the 125th Anniversary Dinner of the Ends of the Earth Club in Washington, D.C. The featured speaker was Vice Admiral Heidi Berg, USN, Commander of Fleet Cyber Command, Navy Space Command, and the U.S. TENTH Fleet, who leads more than 15,000 personnel across her combined commands.

In her remarks, Admiral Berg compared China’s centralized, government-controlled cyber and space efforts with the more fragmented U.S. approach, emphasizing that continued American leadership depends on strong coordination between government and private industry.

It was a timely reminder of the cooperation required to maintain our nation’s security.
